Check out these two videos, captured in a barn somewhere in the vicinity of Pebble Beach. What you may also catch a glimpse of, is the winner of this year's "coolest security guard" award.

Yup, real LF (not a demo mockup), the first and only in the US. The barn is in the Pebble Beach area.

It seems so and it makes sense too. Ferrari needed a place to store their LaFerrari until they show it at Pebble Beach and what better place to keep it than in some unassuming barn a few miles out of town?

That title seems about 40 years ahead of it's time.

LOL. Does Ferrari know the people found it? Did they take it or something?

Well from the looks of it, the security guard didn't give a flaming fuck.

You know... I did not like it when it was debuted. I'm still a much bigger fan of the P1 and the 918. But I am liking it a whole lot better now from this video.

Still not a fan of the rear body line though.

Also... WTF WERE THE MIRRORS "FOLDED IN". No point to that. NO POINT. WHAT.SO.EVER.

Usually, people find older cars locked away in barns.

Some cars fold in their mirrors when they are turned off.

Lol, but tbh folding mirrors are pointless on most cars. If it's so tight you have to close your mirrors, it's not like the doors are going to magically open either... Can only see two scenarious where folding mirrors have a point, A: tight garagedoors etc. B: carpark where you know people are going to walk inbetween cars and you don't want bags slapping the mirrors in.

1) It's such a clean, tight design. It simply does not translate to pictures, but the video begins to hint at how elegant it will seem in person.

2) I'll take ridiculously obvious pre-staged videos for a thousand, trebek. "I wonder if the new million dollar supercar is behind this unlocked door with a security guard sitting there ignoring my tresspassing completely oh hey what an unexpected turn of events it's right here staged beautifully and well-lit in the center of the building"

I'm just enjoying some footage of the car in a non-studio lit enviroment. Of course it's pre arranged.

The reason it's placed so photogenically there is because they've used the location for private showings of the car to clients before it makes it's public US debut.

I've noticed that. But why the hell did Ferrari put that on the LaFerrari? Those require motors... and with how freaking far the mirrors stick out on that thing, it's totally pointless to have them do that.

Ferrari was stupid doing that, in my opinion haha.

The only thing about it I'm not a huge fan of is how freakin' long its nose is.

Am I the only one that thinks it looks beautiful from the back, and catastrophically ugly from the front, just like the 458 and FF?

Yup. Answer to the greatest question ever.

"How do we make it go faster?"

"Add lightness."

And that was the F40.

WOW, never noticed the lines in the body back by the engine cover, those are gorgeous.
